Stampin' Up! Rich Razzleberry

Welcome to week 40 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations blog hop for 2022. This week's feature colour is Rich Razzleberry, which is another member of the Regals colour group. I have chosen to pair it with Basic White and Old Olive .

This week I have taken my inspiration from the sample on page 37 of the current Mini Catalogue, as this was actually one of the cards that persuaded me to purchase the stamp set, Flowing Flowers.

I started by inking up the largest stamp with a Sponge Dauber with Old Olive and and inked up the leaf area of the stamp. Using my Stamparatus I stamped the image, in some cases several times to get the intensity as daubing doesn't create the same intensity as applying the stamp directly to the ink pad. I then used the same process but using Rich Razzleberry for the flower part of the stamp. For the flower I actually inked the dauber several times for the flower centre to add some depth. I repeated this process for each of the corners of the Basic White cardstock.

I then dry embossed the piece using the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. I then die cut a few sprigs from the Flowers of Home die set in both the Mother Of Pearl Specialty paper and also from Vellum. I have also added some Wink of Stella to the flower centres which you can see in the photo below.

For the sentiment I have used the Hippo and Friends dies, firstly in Old Olive and then the sentiment panel in Basic White. The sentiment has been stamped using Rich Razzleberry. I have then added a couple of Iridescent Rhinestones and finally this has all been mounted on a piece of the New Horizons DSP and then on Thick White cardstock.

Next in tonight's blog hop is our host Catherine Proctor. I look forward to seeing what beautiful creation she has to share with us tonight.

Stampin' Up! Pool Party

Welcome to week 36 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations blog hop for 2022. This week's feature colour is Pool Party, which is a member of the Subtles colour group.

For this week's card I have chosen to feature a couple of the freebies you can earn during Saleabration, being the stamp set Friendly Hello and the coordinating Designer Series Paper which you can get for free when you spend $180. Both products are some of the nicest freebies Stampin' Up! have had of recent times.

My starting point for this card was to stamp the gorgeous bird image in Memento Black and then colour it using Stampin' Blends in Pool Party, Pale Papaya and Crumb Cake. I have then die cut this using one of the Layering Circles dies and then embossed it using the Tasteful Textile folder. This has then been mounted on a scalloped die cut piece of Pool Party and then finally on Black cardstock that has been die cut using one of the Encircled in Beauty dies. You can see the embossing and the lovely die cut outs a bit clearer on the photo below.

I have then mounted this on a piece of the beautiful paper from Friendly Hello paper. The sentiment has also been stamped in Black Memento and then die cut using one of the Tasteful Labels dies. I have attached a small bow using Black and White Gingham ribbon, which I have just realised has retired, Oops! Finally a couple of Iridescent Rhinestones added to the paper and a Black classic Matte dot for the bird's eye.

Next in tonight's blog hop our lovely host Catherine Proctor. I look forward to seeing what beautiful creation she has to share with us tonight.

Stampin' Up! Mint Macaron

Welcome to week 28 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations blog hop for 2021. This week's feature colour is Mint Macaron which as the name suggests is a mint green colour and is one of the Subtles colours.

This week I have decided to ink up the Flowers of Friendship stamp set again which has a matching punch.

I started by stamping the image in Black Memento ink and then colouring the image using Stampin Blends in both Mint Macaron and Pale Papaya. I have then punched a couple of the flowers and popped them up with dimensionals. For the flower centres I have used some Loose Flowers Flourishes in Pale Papaya. I have then die cut this image using the Stitched So Sweetly dies. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and has also been stamped in Black Memento and also die cut with a smaller die from the same set.

For the background DSP I have used one of the reverse sides of the Hand Penned DSP and once again embossed it using the Tasteful Textile folder. I really wish that the Subtle folder hadn't been retired as it was perfect for this sort of look.

Finally I have added some Pale Papaya ribbon, both wrapping around the panel and the bow.

Next in tonight's blog hop is the lovely Rosa Leyden. I look forward to seeing what lovely creation she has share with us tonight.

Heart of Christmas Week 16

Welcome to Week 16 of The Art With Heart Heart Of Christmas blog hop. This week our host is Tina Gillespie .

Following on from last week's Heart Of Christmas blog hop I have decided to have another play with the Bright Baubles bundle. This week my starting point was one of the "reverse" sides of the Whimsy and Wonder DSPs.

I started by embossing the DSP using the Tasteful Textile folder to add some texture. For one of the baubles I stamped the image in Versamark and the embossed it with White embossing powder and then die cut the bauble using the corresponding die. For the second bauble I stamped the image with Mint Macaron onto Shimmery White cardstock and then die cut it with the corresponding die. I also coloured some of the decorative images using the Mint Macaron Stampin Blend.

For the bauble on the left I have used Metallic Pearls for decoration and for the bauble on the right I had to colour some Basic Pearl Jewels using a Mint Macaron Stampin Blend. The sentiment is also from the same bundle and I have embossed it with White embossing powder and then die cut it with one of the Ornate Frames dies.

I really love how this bundle makes it so easy to make lovely Christmas cards and I can see myself using it more in the coming weeks.

Next in tonight's blog hop is Sharon Davern. Click on the button below and it should take you to her blog where you can see her beautiful creation for tonight. If the button doesn't work then you can always go to Tina Gillespie's blog where you can see a full list of tonight's participants.

Stampin' Up! Artistically Inked Birthday

Earlier this week I shared a card made for the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase and today I have another card featuring Granny Apple Green  to share with you.

This card features the Artistically Inked bundle which consists of a matching stamp set and coordinating dies. I've stamped the images in Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo and Mango Melody and then die cut them with the corresponding dies. I have then adhered a piece of Shimmery White cardstock to one of the adhesive sheets and die cut the whole larger image. By using the adhesive sheets it means you dont have to use any glue which is very fiddly with a die like this. I have then mounted this on another piece of Shimmery White cardstock that I have embossed using the Tasteful Textile embossing folder.

Finally the sentiment is also from the same stamp set and it has been die cut using a Rectangle Stitched die and then a few sequins from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack.

As always if you would like to know more about anything Stampin Up!, would like me to pop a brand new catalogue in the mail to you, or would like to order any of the beautiful products then please contact me via the Facebook tab up the top.

Enjoy your week

Crumb Cake Sympathy

Welcome to week 13 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations blog hop for 2021. This week's feature colour is Crumb Cake which is from the Neutrals colour group. This week I have chosen to team it up with Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz.

For my card this week I have chosen to try the Double Time stamping technique and have used one of the freebie stamp sets that you can earn during Salebration if you spend in this case $180. It's called Delicate Dahlias and is a 2 step stamp set with some lovely greetings. In my case I have chosen to use the Sympathy sentiment.

I have started by cutting 2 panels and only adhering them slightly so you can separate them once the stamping is complete. Before separating the panels I have run them through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine using the Tasteful Textile folder. It's a bit hard to see in the photo above but hopefully it is a bit clearer in this one.

Once this has been done the panels are then separated and I have mounted them on Crumb Cake cardstock. I have then used some of the Crumb Cake and Vanilla Bakers Twine and a few Champagne Rhinestones. I have stamped the sentiment on a piece of Crumb Cake card and then used one of the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch punches to cut it out.

I have really enjoyed using this method with this stamp set as it really lends itself to the method.

Next in tonight's blog hop is the lovely Christine Blain .I look forward to seeing what lovely creation they have to share with us this week as she is always a wonderful enabler..

Stampin' Up! Cinnamon Cider Healing Thoughts

Welcome to week 11 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations blog hop for 2021. This week's feature colour is Cinnamon Cider. Cinnamon Cider is one of the 2020-21 In Colours, a nice tan colour.

For this week's card I have decided to "break open" one of the new bundles from the July to December mini which is NOT a Christmas one, Nature's Harvest. As Stampin' Up! is based in America they are about to go into Fall(Autumn) thus the reason for these type of products being in this mini.

For the base of the card I have used Cinnamon Cider cardstock and then added a piece of Harvest Meadow DSP which I have embossed using the Tasteful Textile folder, but it's a bit hard to see as the DSP has fine script on it. I have then added a piece of Cork Specialty paper and on top of that a tag die cut from Tailor Made Tags. Then finally the bloom which is from the Natures Harvest stamp set and has a coordinating die. I have coloured it using Stampin' Blends in Cinnamon Cider, Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent.

The sentiment has been stamped in Cinnamon Cider and I think it is a really lovely sentiment. I also really love the Cork Specialty paper as it bring a lovely texture to creations.

Next in the blog hop tonight is Rosa Leyden If you click on the button below it will take you to her blog where you can see her latest lovely creation.

If the "next" button link is not working or you would like to see a full list of participants then go to Cathy Proctor's blog, where you can see a full list of tonight's participants.

Later this week I will have another card to share with you using the same bundle so make sure you pop back for another look.

Remember to come back again next week when our feature colour will be Coastal Cabana, one of the Brights colours..

Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase : Poppy Parade

I'm baaaaccckkkk! Yes it has been a while since my last post but sometimes things in life have to take priority. Once Christmas passed we made the hard decision to move my 98 year old mother into Aged Care. Although it was a hard decision to make at the time, I know now that it was the absolute right decision. She is now settled and I hope to get back to joining this blog hop on a regular basis again.

This week we are featuring Poppy Parade. Poppy Parade is a member of the Brights colour group and one of the first Stampin' Up! colours I was introduced to many years ago. I've always loved this red colour and love teaming it with black and white as you will see.

My first card features the True Love DSP, 2 ways, one coloured with Stampin Blends and another as a base for the card.

I've mounted the coloured piece of DSP on to a piece of Whisper White cardstock that has been embossed using the Tasteful Textile folder. I've then added a peeper of Poppy Parade die cut using one of the Ornate Borders dies. The sentiment is from the Here's a Card stamp set. And to finish I've added a couple of Matt Black Dots.

For my second card I've finally inked up the absolutely beautiful Art Gallery stamp set and die cut the flower with the matching Floral Gallery Die.

Now that I look at it I really could've taken a better photo. The Fine Floral Art bundle also includes Painted Texture 3D embossing folder and i Have used it to emboss a piece of Whisper White cardstock to mount the beautiful flower. The DSP in the background is another piece from the True Love pack. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set and I've added a couple of Resin Hearts to the panel.

This photo shows a close up of the detail in the Painted Texture embossing folder.

As always if you would like to know more about anything Stampin Up!, would like me to pop a brand new catalogue in the mail to you, or would like to order any of the beautiful products then please contact me via the Facebook tab up the top.
