Stampin' Up! Calypso Coral Flowers

Welcome to week 9 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations blog hop for 2021. This week's feature colour is Calypso Coral.

I have chosen to team Calypso Coral with one of the new In Colours, Soft Succulent and I think it goes together beautifully. I decided it was time to ink up the Flowers of Friendship stamp set which comes with a matching punch.

I have coloured the flowers using  Calypso Corral and Soft Succulent blends and then die cut the Basic White cardstock using one of the Ornate Layers dies. The DSP in the background is from the You're a Peach pack and I have embossed it using the Ornate Floral 3D folder.

The sentiment is from the Celebrate with Flowers stamp set and it is  nice to have a vertical greeting for a change. This has been die cut using one of the Stitched Rectangle dies. Then for a bit of added interest I have added a bow using the Soft Succulent Open Weave ribbon and a few of the Artistry Blooms sequins.

Next in the blog hop tonight is Andrea Sargent. If you click on the button below it will take you to her blog where you can see her latest lovely creation.

Peaceful Greetings

Welcome to week 4 of the Art With Heart Heart of Christmas blog hop where some of the team members share their latest Christmas creations. This week our host is Tina Gillespie.

Once again I have chosen to use some of the new products from the upcoming July to December mini which features lots of new beautiful Christmas products along with some other Fall and Thanksgiving (Stampin' Up! is US based) products. My card this week features the Peaceful Cabin bundle.

For the background of this card I have used the emboss resist technique using one of the stamps from the Snowflake Wishes set in white embossing powder and then using Blending Brushes and Misty Moonlight for the skyline. The cabin is cut using the dies from the Peaceful Cabin bundle.

The trees have been stamped using the matching stamp set and then die cut with the corresponding dies. I have then applied some Wink Of Stella to the trees for some shimmer.

Its a bit hard to tell from any of the photos and it is also hard to capture in a photo but the foreground has been die cut using one of the Basic Borders dies but has been cut using the Snowy White Velvet paper to try and emulate snow on the ground. It's a shame you cant feel this paper as its lovely and smooth. The greeting is from Tidings and Trimmings and I have coloured some of the Neutrals Twine to coordinate.

Next in tonight's blog hop is Rosa Leyden. Click on the button below and it should take you to her blog where you can see her beautiful creation for tonight. If the button doesn't work then you can always go to Tina Gillespie's blog where you can view all of tonight's participants.

Stampin' Up! Cajun Craze Sympathy

As I mentioned in my previous post for the Art With Colour Creations Showcase Blog Hop, I would have another Cajun Craze card to share with you and this is the other one I created.

For this card I have used the Beautiful Trees  dies to die cut the leaves from a piece of the Beauty of the Earth DSP. I have mounted the tree on a piece of Basic White cardstock that has been embossed using the Stitched Greenery die. The sentiment is from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set. I've added some Bakers Twine and then a couple of Brushed Metallic dots.

As always if you would like to know more about anything Stampin Up!, would like me to pop a brand new catalogue in the mail to you, or would like to order any of the beautiful products then please contact me via the Facebook tab up the top.

Enjoy your week

Stampin' Up! Cajun Craze Birthday

Welcome to another week of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop. This week our feature colour is Cajun Craze which is quite a polarizing tan colour.

As Cajun Craze is such a strong colour I struggled what other colours to coordinate it with, so I ended up going with good old Basic White and Black.

The DSP I have used in the background is from the In The Wild pack and it is hard to see but I have actually embossed it using the Painted Texture embossing folder. The sentiment is from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set but I have masked the stamp so as to remove the words in the middle (a little bit late). The banner at the top and bottom as well flags in the left top corner are all from the Stitched Triangle dies. The flags in the top corner have been die cut from the "returning favourite"Black Glimmer paper which will be available to purchase next month. The stars have been die cut using another new specialty paper, Silver foil Specialty paper and I have used the Brushed Finish one. This will also be available in the upcoming mini.

I have also made another card featuring Cajun Craze but I will share that with you later in the week.

Next in the Blog Hop tonight is Andrea Sargent. If you click on the button below it will take you to her blog where you can see her latest lovely creation. If the "next" button link is not working of you would like to see a full list of participants then go to Cathy Proctor's blog   .

Holly Jolly Christmas

Welcome to another week of The Heart Of Christmas where members of the Art With Heart team are sharing their Christmas creations in a blog hop. This week our host is the lovely Sharon Davern.

Finally some of my new goodies from the yet to be released June to December mini catalogue arrived. There are so many beautiful new Stampin' Up! products in this new catalogue and not only for Christmas. One of the stand out choices for me was the Painted Christmas Suite which included 2 stamp sets, DSP, ribbon and some gold leaves. For me the holly, berries and pine cones all epitomize Christmas.

The colour scheme I have gone with is Evening Evergreen Pear Pizzazz and Real Red. On the Evening Evergreen base I have adhered one of the Pine needle die cuts in Pear Pizzazz and I ahve sponged the edges to add some depth. I've then cut several different pieces from the dies in the Christmas Season bundle, one from the beautiful matching DSP, one from vellum and a top one from real Red which I have heat embossed the greeting from Christmas to Remember. I just think all of the elements from the is suite just go so beautifully together which is something that Stampin' Up! do so well. I've also die cut a couple of stamped holly leaves and berries for added depth.

The ribbon, Cherry Cobbler and Gold metallic ribbon is also from the same suite.

For the inside of the card I've stamped another of the greetings from the Christmas To Remember stamp set and added another couple of holly leaves and berries.

I'm sure that this suite of products is going to feature a lot in this year's cards.

Next in tonight's blog hop is Vicki Boucher.  Click on the button below and it should take you to her blog where you can see her lovely creation. If the button link is not working then you can go to Sharon Davern's blog for a full list of participants in tonight's blog hop.

Stampin' Up! Bumblebee Strength

Welcome to Week 7 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop for 2021. This week our feature colour is one of the 2020-21 In Colours, Bumblebee.

I have teamed Bumblebee with another of the In Colours from 2020-21, Cinnamon Cider and then one of the new In Colours, Evening Evergreen. I have always been a lover of all things Autumn so decided to ink up the Love of Leaves which has the matching dies, Stitched Leaves.

For the base of the card I have embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock with the 3D Bark Embossing folder. On top of this I have placed a piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock with another piece of Basic White that has been stamped using one of the leaves stamps in Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider and Evening Evergreen. I have then added some die cut leaves using the same colour cardstock. The greeting is from Queen Anne's Lace and has been stamped on apiece of Basic White cardstock which has been die cut with one of the Hippo and Friends dies. Then finally some Bumblebee Gingham ribbon and a couple of Champagne Rhinestones.

Next in the Blog Hop tonight is Rachel Palmieri.  If you click on the button below it will take you to her blog where you can see her latest beautiful creation. If the "next"button link is not working or you would like to see the full list of participants go to Cathy Proctor's blog.

From Our Home Christmas Wishes

Welcome to our second week of the Art With Heart Heart of Christmas Blog Hop for 2021.  Each week members of the Art With Heart Stampin' Up! group will be participating in a Christmas themed blog hop. This week the host of our blog hop is Tina Gillespie.

As with last week I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of some new goodies from the upcoming July to December mini which contains lots of new goodies, some of which are Christmas. Unfortunately I couldn't wait for my order to arrive so I have once again used some of my existing supplies for this weeks card. I had however received the Tidings and Trimmings bundle from the 2021-2022 Annual catalogue. So my card for this week is using that.

Once again I have used one of this years new In Colours, Evening Evergreen, as the base for my card. I have mounted a piece of the Bloom Where You Are Planted DSP on top of some Real Red Cardstock. I chose this DSP as I thought it looked like a wooden door. The base the wreath is from the Painted Labels dies. Then I have die cut multiple pieces of berries die and leaves die to make a wreath. The greeting is from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set. I do really like this sentiment especially on cards I give to our neighbours.  For the bow I have used the Simply Elegant Trim and a Matte Black Dot to look like a door handle.

Next on tonight's blog hop is Michele Taylor's blog. Click on the button below and it should take you to her blog where you can see her wonderful creation for this week's hop.If the button link is not working or you would like to see the entire list of participants then you can go to Tina Gillespie's Blog blog.

Stampin' Up! Blushing Bride Best Wishes

Welcome to Week 6 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop. This week our feature colour is Blushing Bride, a very pretty pink colour that belongs to the Subtles group of colours.

This week I decided it was time to show some love to the Pieced Blooms dies which I have had for sometime but not used. As it was, it was quite fortuitous that I had finally decided to replace my 10 plus years of age old Big Shot machine with one of the beautiful new Stampin Cut and Emboss machines. So I make no apology that there is lots of die cutting in this card.

I have chosen to team Blushing Bride with Crumb Cake, Basic White and Pear Pizzazz. I have used a piece of the Subtles DSP Assortments as a background and then built the pot of flowers on top. The pot has actually been die cut using a die from the Perfect Plants dies. All of the flower pieces are from the Pierced Blooms dies including the cute little bow. The sentiment has been stamped in Early Espresso and has been cut using one of the dies from the Ornate frames. Finally I have added some Pastel Pearls to the flower centres.

Next in the blog hop tonight is Sharon Davern. If you click on the button below it will take you to her blog so you can see her lovely creation. If the "next" button link is not working or you would like to see the entire list of participants go to Cathy Proctor's blog blog.

Perfectly Plaid Christmas

Welcome to another year of the Art With Heart Heart of Christmas. This year we have decided to go back to weekly blogs as well as reverting to the blog hop format. The host for this week's blog hop is the lovely Sharon Davern.

As this has been scheduled for just after the brand new July to December mini was available for Demonstrators to order from I have had to rely on products from the Annual catalogue.

Perfectly Plaid is a stamp set that has been available for a couple of years now but is still a great one to use for Christmas. This year I have decided to pair if with some of the new Tidings Of Christmas DSP which features a couple of the new In Colours for 2021, Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent.

For the background I have used the Evergreen Forest embossing folder which features Pine trees just like the ones I have punched out using the Pine Tree punch. As mentioned I have used a piece of the Tidings of Christmas DSP which i have die cut using one of the Basic Borders dies to make it look like rolling hills. The sentiment is from the Best Year stamp set which has sentiments for all sorts of occasions. This has been stamped on Basic White and then die cut using one of the dies from the Scalloped Contours dies. The beautiful ribbon is the new Soft Succulent Open Weave ribbon. Then for a bit of bling I've added some Red Rhinestones.

Next on tonight's blog hop is Tina Gillespie. Click on the button below and it should take you to her blog where you can see her lovely Christmas creation. If the button link is not working or you would like to see the entire list of participants go to Sharon Davern's blog.

Stampin'Up! Blackberry Bliss Thinking of You

As I mentioned in my previous post for the Art With Colour Creations Showcase Blog Hop, I would have another Blackberry Bliss card to share with you and this is the other one I created.

For this card I have used the new Colour and Contour Bundle for both the flowers and the sentiment. I have coloured the flowers using Blackberry Bliss blends and then die cut them using the coordinating dies. The background DSP is from the Simply Elegant pack. The just a couple of the Silver Epoxy Essentials for some bling.

As the inside of the card is such a dark colour I have added a die cut piece in Basic White and then adhered a leftover flower that I had coloured.

As always if you would like to know more about anything Stampin Up!, would like me to pop a brand new catalogue in the mail to you, or would like to order any of the beautiful products then please contact me via the Facebook tab up the top.
