Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop Week 4 : Blackberry Bliss

Welcome back to week 4 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase blog hop. This week our feature colour is Blackberry Bliss. Blackberry Bliss is a colour from the Regals Colour Collection. 

For my Colour Creations Showcase  I have chosen to use the beautiful To A Wild Rose bundle.

The lattice background has been created using the Forever gold Specialty DSP which is gold on one side and then white on the other. The roses have been stamped in Blackberry Bliss and then cut with the coordinating dies. The leaves have been stamped in Garden Green and then also cut with the coordinating dies. To make the roses pop I have added Metallic pearls to the flower centres. The sentiment comes from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop Week 3 : Bermuda Bay

Welcome back to week 3 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase blog hop. This week our feature colour is Bermuda Bay. Bermuda Bay in my mind is a light teal colour and one that is probably not used often enough as it really is a lovely colour.

I have chosen to team it with one of the lovely Designer Series Papers from the Flower For Every Season which is pack of floral designs in a 6X6 size format. With this DSP one side is a lovely colourful floral and the other side in most cases a pattern.

I have first dry embossed the DSP with the Subtle embossing folder and then cut it out with one of the Ornate Layers Dies. The sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set has been heat embossed onto Bermuda Bay cardstock and then cut with a die from the Painted Labels dies. Finally I have added some White crinkled seam binding ribbon and some leaves cut from vellum with one of the dies from the Forever Flourishing die set. Finally a couple of the mettalic pearls for some dimension on a couple of the flowers.

Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop Week 2 : Basic Grey

Welcome to week 2 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase. This week we will be showcasing Basic Grey.

As a Stampin'Up! demonstrator I have the very lucky opportunity to pre-purchase selected products from the Annual catalogue before they are available to everyone. One of the suites on my "must have" list was fortunately available for pre-purchase, and that was the In Good Taste Suite, which includes a beautiful DSP and an equally beautiful stamp set. You may have actually seen it featured in some of last week's Colour Creations Showcase participants cards they created.

 In my case I have actually chosen to CASE the card on page 122 of the catalogue. As with the card in the catalogue I have stamped the leaf sprigs directly onto the DSP, something that I don't often do but I actually like the effect. The beautiful flowers have been stamped in Black Memento and then coloured with Rococo Rose Stampin' Blends. The sentiment has been stamped in Basic grey and then the die cut has been embossed using my favourite folder, the Subtle embossing folder.

Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop Week 1 : Balmy Blue

Welcome to the 2020 Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop. This is my first year participating and I look forward to sharing my creations with you each week. Each week we will work our way through all of the Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order. This week it is Balmy Blue.

For me Balmy Blue conjures up images of either baby boy cards or male cards, so I went with the latter.

All of the products used in this card were actually available in the 2019-20 Stampin Up! Annual catalogue but have also carried over into the new 2020-21 Annual Catalogue that went live on June 3rd, today!

Seaside Spray Thinking of You

Today I would like to share with you a card featuring one of the new in-colours, Seaside Spray, which I think is my favourite of the 4 new in-colours for 2019-2020. It really is a beautiful blue. Once again I have used a sentiment from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set. I have stamped it on one of the new shapes cut from the Detailed Bands dies and then mounted it on Whisper White cardstock cut with the Delicate Lace Edgelits. The little flourishes are from the Flourish thinlits.  Then it has all been mounted on some of the new in-colour DSP.

Woven Prayers

Today I would like to share with you the second card I have made using the Woven Threads Suite of products. This card features 3 of 4 of the new in-colours for 2019-2020, Seaside Spray, Terracotta Tile and Purple Posy. 

I'm not sure if you can see it in this photo but I have embossed the DSP with the Subtle embossing folder. I love how it just adds a special something to DSP without being over powering. The sentiment and edge design stamp have been stamped on to one of the super useful Stitched Nested Labels dies.

Woven Threads Love

Today I would like to share with you the first of few cards I have made recently featuring the beautiful Woven Threads Suite from the new Annual catalogue. The dies and stamp set were one of my first "must have" when the new catalogue was released. The whole suite has an heirloom feel about it.
For this card I chose to CASE the card in the catalogue on page 13 and features a lot of the products from the suite.

When I first saw this card I loved it so knew that I had to CASE it.
