back to week 6 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase blog hop.
This week our feature colour is Bumblebee. Bumblebee is a
colour from the new In Colours for 2020-22 Colour Collection and it is a lovely yellow colour.
For my
Colour Creations Showcase I have chosen to feature some of the new coordinating Designer Series Paper and a new stamp set of sentiments.
There is actually not much stamping on this card, just the sentiment! I have chosen 2 coordinating Designer Series Papers from the Flowers For Every Season Pack and teamed them with some Very Vanilla, Bumblebee and Just Jade cardstock. Just Jade is another of the In Colours that were released recently. Around the centre of the card I have wrapped some Open Weave Vanilla ribbon, from the Forever Greenery trim pack and topped it with some beautiful Bumblebee Gingham ribbon. The flowers I have popped on are actually from the Flowers For Every Season Memories and More Cards. In the centre of the flowers I have adhered some of the new In Colour enamel dots just to accentuate the flowers a bit.Finally a cute little Bumblebee Gingham bow to finish it off! It's just a nice and quick card to put together with some lovely coordinating products.

Today I would like to share with you a card featuring one of the new in-colours, Seaside Spray, which I think is my favourite of the 4 new in-colours for 2019-2020. It really is a beautiful blue. Once again I have used a sentiment from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set. I have stamped it on one of the new shapes cut from the Detailed Bands dies and then mounted it on Whisper White cardstock cut with the Delicate Lace Edgelits. The little flourishes are from the Flourish thinlits. Then it has all been mounted on some of the new in-colour DSP.

Today I would like to share with you the second card I have made using the Woven Threads Suite of products. This card features 3 of 4 of the new in-colours for 2019-2020, Seaside Spray, Terracotta Tile and Purple Posy.
I'm not sure if you can see it in this photo but I have embossed the DSP with the Subtle embossing folder. I love how it just adds a special something to DSP without being over powering. The sentiment and edge design stamp have been stamped on to one of the super useful Stitched Nested Labels dies.

Today I would like to share with you the first of few cards I have made recently featuring the beautiful Woven Threads Suite from the new Annual catalogue. The dies and stamp set were one of my first "must have" when the new catalogue was released. The whole suite has an heirloom feel about it.
For this card I chose to CASE the card in the catalogue on page 13 and features a lot of the products from the suite.
When I first saw this card I loved it so knew that I had to CASE it.

Welcome back to my blog. I know it's been a long time since my last post but life has just been so very busy for this first part of the year. Who can believe that it is May already!
Early May for me is always busy as it is my Mum's birthday on the 5th and then we have Mother's Day the following week. This year my dear Mum is turning 97! Luckily she is still in very good health and continues to live in a serviced apartment within a retirement village where she has all her meals and cleaning done for her.
The card I have made for her this year highlights the Needle and Thread Suite from the Occasions Catalogue, which will be retiring on June 3rd and has been inspired by Tami White. When Mum was able to, she loved her Needlework so I thought it would be lovely to make a card using the Suite.
This is the card I have made and although her birthday is this coming weekend it's safe to say at 97 that she wont be on the internet to see it before the day.
