Welcome to Week 4 of the Art With Heart, Heart of Christmas.
This year we will be hopping weekly, so hopefully we can provide you with some festive inspiration. Our host for this year's blog hop is the lovely Sharon Davern.
For this week's inspiration I had in my mind to use the Emboss Resist technique.
This is the technique where you stamp an image in Versamark and then emboss it using White Wow Embossing powder. Once dry you apply the ink to cardstock over the image using either and Sponge Dauber or a Blending Brush. As the name suggests the stamped image then resists the uptake of ink.
In this case I have used a Blending Brush and Shaded Spruce ink. The image has then been die cut using the dies from the matching Delicate Pines dies.
I have then added some Pine Needles cut from Early Espresso and Cajun Craze card. This has then all been mounted onto white card that has been embossed using the Snowflake Sky embossing folder (retired). The card has also been die cut using one of the Textured Notes dies.
This has all been mounted onto a piece of Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Series Paper.
Finally for the bling I've added Clear Faceted Snowflakes and Shaded Spruce Delightful Decorative Dots.
