AWH Heart of Christmas 2026 Week 4

Welcome to Week 4 of the Art With Heart, Heart of Christmas blog hop. I will be doing my best to partake in as many as possible over the next couple of months as it's a great way to get a head start before the festive season is upon us.

This year we will be hopping weekly, so hopefully we can provide you with some festive inspiration. Our host for this year's blog hop is the lovely Sharon Davern.

For this weeks hop I am featuring one of the new Hot Foil bundles, Twinkling Tidings as well as a new Embossing folder, Swirls of Magic.

Apiece of white card has been dry embossed using the Swirls of Magic folder and then die cut using the Arch die from the Twinkling Tidings Hot Foil Dies. This has then been mounted onto a piece of Timeless Christmas Designer Series Paper and then onto a piece of Peaceful Pine card.

The tree is a two step stamp using Peaceful Pine and Soft Seafoam ink and then die cut. For the basket I have used Pecan Pie and Early Espresso inks.

The super cute presents under the tree and the baubles hanging from the tree are from the Christmas Epoxy Shapes. For the garland on the tree I have used the Timeless Metallic Specialty Designer Series paper along with some adhesive sheets. The die is also from the Twinkling Tidings dies. The star atop of the tree has also been done in the same manner.

The sentiment is also from Twinkling Tidings and has been Hot Foiled in gold on white card.

For the inside of the card I have used another piece of the Timeless Christmas paper and mounted it onto Poppy Parade card. The sentiment is from Noel Tidings and stamped in Poppy Parade.

AWH Heart of Christmas 2026 Week 3

Welcome to Week 3 of the Art With Heart, Heart of Christmas blog hop.

For this weeks hop I have a trio of cards to share with you, all of which are featuring the Creative Celebrations Mix and Match Designer Series Paper and the Season of Celebration Mix and Match Ephemera pack, along with a bit of Hot Foiling. These 2 packs make it super simple to create lots of different cards without needing to many other supplies.

For the first card I have used a couple of the papers mounted onto Peaceful Pine cardstock, one of which has been embossed using the Softly Woven 3D embossing folder. The sentiment, from Stitched Stockings has been stamped and punched using the Exciting Times bundle. I have popped a large bow using Multicolour Christmas Bakers Twine behind one of the die cuts from the DSP pack. For a bit of bling I have used Delightful Decorative Dots.

The sentiment on the inside has been Hot Foiled with Red foil and then another die cut and decorative paper added.

The second card has also been created using a combination of the paper and Ephemera pack. Some of the die cuts in the Ephemera are actually stickers but I have chosen to mount them using Dimensionals instead for some added depth. For the backdrop of the presents I have used card die cut using Everyday Arches. The sentiment has been Hot Foiled using the Magical Christmas die. The ribbon on this card is Real Red Stitched Ribbon.

I have continued the cute present paper onto the inside of the card along with a sicker sentiment from the Ephemera pack.

Finally the third card uses a couple of the Creative Celebrations papers along with some of the die cuts from the Ephemera pack. The word "Joy" has been Hot Foiled and die cut using Luxe Alphabet and Numbers die and once again Red foil. For bling this time I have added a couple of In Colour Peaceful Pine dots as well as a splattering of Peaceful Pine Shimmer ink.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is once again one of the stickers from the Ephemera pack and I have added a strip of matching paper from the card front.

So as you can see it is quite easy to create quick cards with the use of the Creative Celebrations DSP and the Season of Celebration Ephemera pack.

AWH Heart of Christmas 2026 Week 2

Welcome to Week 2 of the Art With Heart, Heart of Christmas blog hop. I wasn't able to partake in our first week but will be doing my best to partake in as many as possible over the next couple of months. It's a great way to get a head start before the festive season is upon us.

This year we will be hopping weekly, so hopefully we can provide you with some festive inspiration. Our host for this year's blog hop is the lovely Sharon Davern.

For my first blog hop for the Heart Of Christmas I have chosen to feature the beautiful  Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper which also happens to be the paper where $4.25 AUD from every pack purchased is donated to organizations to help spread a little holiday cheer.

I have let the paper be the feature and added a couple of die cut trees using Holly Jolly Branches dies. One has been cut using Pretty Peacock cardstock and then embossed in silver using a stamp from the Holly Jolly Branches stamp set. The smaller tree has been die cut using the same die set but smaller, using white cardstock and then sponged using Soft Sea Foam ink.

The sentiment from the Magical Christmas Hot Foil dies has been foiled in silver onto Pretty Peacock cardstock and then die cut. This was one of my first attempts at foiling and I have to say I am a big fan. The stars are also foiled in silver using the same Hot Foil die. I have used the Wink of Stella pen to add a bit of sparkle to the trees on the paper.

All of this has been mounted onto a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock that has been embossed using the gorgeous Softly Woven 3D Embossing folder and then mounted onto white cardstock.

For the inside of the card I have stamped one of the trees from the  Holly Jolly Branches stamp set in Pretty Peacock onto white cardstock and then die cut it using the corresponding dies. The sentiment from the Stitched Stocking stamp set has been stamped in Pretty Peacock as well. Finally the flap of the envelope has been  decorated using another piece of the Whispering Woods DSP.
