Welcome to Week 9 of the Art With Heart, Heart of Christmas blog hop. I will be doing my best to partake in as many as possible over the next couple of months as it's a great way to get a head start before the festive season is upon us.
This year we will be hopping weekly, so hopefully we can provide you with some festive inspiration. Our host for this year's blog hop is the lovely Sharon Davern.
This week's card features many of the products from the Neutral Noel Suite of products.
My starting point for this card was to die cut three arches using the Everyday Arches dies, one in Mossy Meadow card, one in Gold Foil and the smallest using Neutral Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper featuring pine trees. These were then layered on top of each other.
Next one of the houses from the Welcome Noel dies was cut using Basic Beige card. I also cut only the outline of the house using Gold foil card and mounted the Basic Beige detailed house on top to make it look like the lights were on in the house, and shining through the windows. A wreath cut from Mossy Meadow card was added above the door as well as a gold Adhesive Backed Metallic Gem.
The house was then mounted onto the Pine tree paper using Dimensionals. A couple of Reideer cut from Pecan Pie card were also added.I have also added some Mossy Meadow Pine fronds using the largest die from Noel Tidings, and cutting sections of it.
All of this was then mounted onto a piece of Basic Beige card that has been dry embossed using the Swirls of Magic Embossing folder.
The sentiment also from Noel Tidings has been stamped in Mossy Meadow onto Basic Beige card and then die cut with one of the Noel Tidings dies. A separate piece has been cut using Gold foil card and added to the ends.
All of this has then been mounted onto a piece of Texture and Tone Designer Series Paper featuring Mossy Meadow stripes.
The theme has been continued onto the inside of the card with a strip of the Texture and Tone paper, along with a Pine tree stamped in Mossy Meadow and die cut. For cuteness another reindeer has been added. The star on top of the tree is from the Christmas Epoxy Shapes.
