AWH Heart of Christmas Week 6

Welcome to Week 6 of the Art With Heart, Heart of Christmas blog hop. I will be doing my best to partake in as many as possible over the next couple of months as it's a great way to get a head start before the festive season is upon us.

This year we will be hopping weekly, so hopefully we can provide you with some festive inspiration. Our host for this year's blog hop is the lovely Sharon Davern.

The inspiration for this week's card came from a sample in the current catalogue on page 46. The second card down in particular.

My starting point was to colour one of the Detailed Wreath Accents in Peaceful Pine and Real Red. I then stamped two of the houses from the Welcome Noel bundle, one in Pecan Pie and the other in Calypso Coral onto Basic Beige card. These were then die cut using the dies from the matching set.

These were then all mounted onto a piece of Basic Beige card that had been embossed using the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder and then die cut using one of the Noel Tidings dies.

Some of the Neutrals Jute in Pecan Pie was popped behind the die cut oval.

The sentiment stamped in Peaceful Pine onto Basic Beige card is from the Noel Tidings set. This was also die cut using the coordinating die.

All of this was then adhered to a piece of Peaceful Pine Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper (an Online Exclusive) and finally onto Basic Beige card. I've added a few In Colour Dots in Peaceful Pine to the front as well.

For the inside of the card I have continued with a strip of the Gingham DSP.

The greeting, from the Stitched Stockings stamp set has been stamped in Peaceful Pine. I have also added a larger tree than the one on the front of the card, but still from the Welcome Noel bundle, stamped in Peaceful Pine onto Basic Beige card. I've added a star using the Timeless Metallic Specialty Designer Series Paper.
