Stampin' Up! Mango Melody

Welcome to week 25 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations blog hop for 2021. This week's feature colour is Mango Melody which is one of the Brights colours and is a very bold bright yellow.

For my card this week I decided that Mango Melody was a good colour to use with the Daisy Lane stamp set which I haven't used for some time. The stamp set also has matching punches and so no need to fussy cut. Always a win for me!

I started by stamping a couple of the daisy branches in Old Olive using my Stamparatus. I then stamped the daisy flowers in Mango Melody and then punched them out using the corresponding punches. I have then mounted the daisies using dimensionals so as to add some depth. For the flower centres I have used the Metallic pearls in gold.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and with this sentiment the card can be used for many different occasions. I have die cut the sentiment using the   Hippo and Friends  dies and then die cut a larger one using the Cork Specialty Paper. Finally a few of the Bumblebee trinkets for some added interest.

Next in tonight's blog hop is the talented Caroline Manwaring. I look forward to seeing what lovely creation she has share with us tonight.

If the "next" button link is not working or you would like to see a full list of participants then go to Catherine Proctor's blog where you can see a full list of tonight's participants.

Remember to come back again next week when our feature colour will be Melon Mambo, another one of the Brights colours.

As always if you live in Australia and would like to know more about Stampin' Up! or would like to purchase some of the products then click on the Facebook tab at the top of the page and send me a message.

As always enjoy your week.

  1. Yellow, or orange? That seems to be the debate about Mango Melody, LOL. It is a very pretty colour to use for flowers, isn't it? I love that you popped up the flower heads on dimensionals, and added those sweet bee trinkets, T.

  2. Oh Theresa, those bumblebees just look totally adorable on your daisies - this stamp set might be an oldie but it is certainly a goodie and hears cheers to punches for easy card making!

  3. Love the centres of the flowers with all those gold metallic pearls and the little bees really shout summer! I forget to use this set and who doesn't love punches for ease?!!!

  4. I've had Daisy Lane out this week too, such a pretty daisy and you've made it extra-special with the lovely addition of embellishments.

  5. Oh Theresa, what a beautiful colour for the daisies. I so love your special touches of gold pearls for the flower centres, the bee trinkets, one flower using both sizes of stamps/punches, the raising of flowers heads on Dimensionals and your use of the cork. Lovely. Xxx

  6. Oh, this is a lovely card Theresa. I love those bees buzzing around the gorgeous daisies!
