For my card this week I decided that Mango Melody was a good colour to use with the Daisy Lane stamp set which I haven't used for some time. The stamp set also has matching punches and so no need to fussy cut. Always a win for me!
I started by stamping a couple of the daisy branches in Old Olive using my Stamparatus. I then stamped the daisy flowers in Mango Melody and then punched them out using the corresponding punches. I have then mounted the daisies using dimensionals so as to add some depth. For the flower centres I have used the Metallic pearls in gold.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set and with this sentiment the card can be used for many different occasions. I have die cut the sentiment using the Hippo and Friends dies and then die cut a larger one using the Cork Specialty Paper. Finally a few of the Bumblebee trinkets for some added interest.
Next in tonight's blog hop is the talented Caroline Manwaring. I look forward to seeing what lovely creation she has share with us tonight.

Yellow, or orange? That seems to be the debate about Mango Melody, LOL. It is a very pretty colour to use for flowers, isn't it? I love that you popped up the flower heads on dimensionals, and added those sweet bee trinkets, T.
ReplyDeleteOh Theresa, those bumblebees just look totally adorable on your daisies - this stamp set might be an oldie but it is certainly a goodie and hears cheers to punches for easy card making!
ReplyDeleteLove the centres of the flowers with all those gold metallic pearls and the little bees really shout summer! I forget to use this set and who doesn't love punches for ease?!!!
ReplyDeleteI've had Daisy Lane out this week too, such a pretty daisy and you've made it extra-special with the lovely addition of embellishments.
ReplyDeleteOh Theresa, what a beautiful colour for the daisies. I so love your special touches of gold pearls for the flower centres, the bee trinkets, one flower using both sizes of stamps/punches, the raising of flowers heads on Dimensionals and your use of the cork. Lovely. Xxx
ReplyDeleteOh, this is a lovely card Theresa. I love those bees buzzing around the gorgeous daisies!
