Welcome to another week of the Art With Heart Colour Creations blog hop. This week we start our journey back at the start of the alphabet, Balmy Blue. As with last week we are now using a blog hop format so all you have to do is click on the "next"button to hop around all of the participants creations.
This weeks colour has come at a perfect time for me as my niece recently gave birth to her third child, a baby boy, named Matteo, and I was yet to make a card to go with the quilt I have made for them. I decided to finally ink up the soon to be retired Baby Pull Toys stamp set.
My first card features the gorgeous elephant stamp which I have coloured using Stampin Blends. The DSP underneath is actually from the Sand and Sea DSP which is also soon to retire.
I was having so much fun using the Baby Pull Toys stamp set that I decided to create another card so at least I will have one on hand when the next baby boy is born!
This time I have used the very cute giraffe stamp which once again I have coloured using the Stampin Blends..
On both cards I have added some Blue Adhesive Backed gems for some bling and the bow has been tied using the White twine in the Snail Mail Twine Combo.
As always if you would like to know more about anything Stampin Up!, would like me to pop a brand new catalogue in the mail to you, or would like to order any of the beautiful products then please contact me via the Facebook tab up the top.

Too much cuteness! I especially love the card made for Matteo ... and the way the "spiky" border complements the stars. The little tags on both cards are adorable. (As you'll see from my card), I love Balmy Blue for a baby card!
ReplyDeleteBoth very cute baby cards, Theresa. Good idea to make two to be ready for the next new arrival.
ReplyDeleteTheresa, both these are totally adorable - can we see the quilt too?
ReplyDeleteThese cards are beautiful. I haven't got any stampin blends yet, but I can see that it won't be too far away before I do. Well done on your amazing cards xox

ReplyDeleteBoth these cards are super cute Theresa but I love the first and how well it matches with the DSP from Sand & Sea DSP and along with the border die. Adorable xo
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet cards Theresa. I love the Baby Pull Toys stamp set and don't plan on parting with it. I particularly like the way you diecut the panel of DSP. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI love your baby cards and this stamp set! The DSP and layout work well together.
