Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop Week 3 : Bermuda Bay

Welcome back to week 3 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase blog hop. This week our feature colour is Bermuda Bay. Bermuda Bay in my mind is a light teal colour and one that is probably not used often enough as it really is a lovely colour.

I have chosen to team it with one of the lovely Designer Series Papers from the Flower For Every Season which is pack of floral designs in a 6X6 size format. With this DSP one side is a lovely colourful floral and the other side in most cases a pattern.

I have first dry embossed the DSP with the Subtle embossing folder and then cut it out with one of the Ornate Layers Dies. The sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set has been heat embossed onto Bermuda Bay cardstock and then cut with a die from the Painted Labels dies. Finally I have added some White crinkled seam binding ribbon and some leaves cut from vellum with one of the dies from the Forever Flourishing die set. Finally a couple of the mettalic pearls for some dimension on a couple of the flowers.

As always if you would like to know more about anything Stampin Up!, would like me to pop a brand new catalogue in the mail to you, or would like to order any of the beautiful products then please contact me via the Facebook tab up the top.

To see more of this week's beautiful creations then please head over to Catherine Proctor's blog. Don't forget to leave a comment!

Enjoy your week.

  1. That is a really cheerful birthday card Theresa and gives me some hope of using up my product share of those papers - they are rather bright for my liking, but you've toned it down nicely with the Bermuda Bay demanding the attention!

  3. Theresa that DSP looks amazing embossed with the subtle folder and then given such a pretty edge with the ornate frame. It co-ordinates perfectly with the Bermuda Bay card base and the little vellum sprigs add such a lovely softness. Thank you so much for joining the AWH Colour Creations showcase to provide some Bermuda Bay colour inspiration xx

  6. A really pretty card, Theresa. I love the embossed panel of DSP, and I love how you chose to add just a few metallic pearls to the flowers and then the softness of the vellum leaves.
