Stampin' Up! Pretty In Pink

Welcome to a Week 3 of the Colour Creations Showcase blog hop. This week we continue our journey through the New In Colours for 2024-26 Stampin' Up!, working in alphabetical order. This week our feature colour is  the lovely Pretty In Pink. A lovely Pink colour that sits between Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo on the Stampin' Up! Colour Wheel.

The Country Flowers bundle is a gorgeous new bundle from the Annual Catalogue and the one I have chosen for this week's card. Pretty In Pink has been teamed with Smokey Slate and Old Olive.

I have used Stampin Blends to colour both the floral spray and the bucket that the flowers are arranged in. These have been popped up on Dimensionals onto a piece of White and then Pretty In Pink card that have been die cut using the Spotlight On Nature dies.

The cascading flowers have been die cut using dies from the Country Flowers dies and In Colour Designer Series Paper and the same in Regals. In Colour Shimmer Gems have been added to the flower centres. The gems have a gorgeous glimmer to them.

The White background card has been embossed using the Eyelet 3D embossing folder and has a narrow edge of Pretty In Pink Bordered ribbon on both top and bottom.

A few Pretty In Pink Adhesive Backed Dappled Dots have also been added to the White card. These dots are gorgeous and look like they have a crackled appearance.

All of this has been mounted onto a piece of Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper.

The sentiment, from Simply Said has been White embossed on Pretty In Pink card.

In an endeavour to not end up with a lot of retired Designer Series Paper at the end of the catalogue, I have added more to the inside of the card. It has been die cut using one of the Radiating Stitches dies.

To cover a bit of a booboo using too much glue, I have added some more die cut flowers and leaves to the top corner.

Next in tonight's blog hop is the talented Rachel Palmieri. I look forward to seeing this week's beautiful creation.

If the "next" button link is not working or you would like to see a full list of participants then you can hop over to our host Cathy Proctor where you can see a full list of tonight's participants.

As always if you live in Australia and would like to know more about Stampin' Up! or would like to purchase some of the products then click on the Facebook tab at the top of the page and send me a message.

As always enjoy your week.

  1. Just gorgeous, Theresa! I love your solution to the "too much glue" problem, LOL! The Spotlight On Nature dies look so lovely layered in Pretty in Pink and White.

  2. So, so pretty, my friend! I just love this card. Adore your use of colour, the gorgeous circle dies, and the beautiful Country Flowers bundle. I giggled at your "boo boo" - nice save! How good is that birthday sentiment? It'll get lots of use, and looks perfect on your card.

  3. Oh Teresa, this is really gorgeous. Love your coloured images, but the cascading flowers & leaves diecut from DSP are stunning. The whole layout of this card design is brilliant!

  4. Theresa I have really been on the fence about this bundle. It has been in and out of my cart for weeks now, but when I see fabulous cards like yours, it goes straight back in. I tell the women who come to my classes that mistakes are only ever an opportunity to embellish and the inclusion of the flowers to cover your boo-boo was genius.

  5. The die cut labels in pink and white set off your card beautifully Theresa, so soft and lacy. Love the big arrangement of flowers too.

  6. Great colour choices. I love how the DSP flowers look like they are cascading out the bucket.
