Sad Times

Although I love making cards, one of the saddest types to make is a sympathy card. Last week one of my work colleagues lost her dear mother rather suddenly. I know she and her mother were very close so I wanted to let her know I was thinking of her. So this was the card I sent her.

What it did make me realize was how much I love the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP and how I really need to ink up the Lots Of Love stamp set some more. Hopefully not for sympathy cards though.
Hope you like it

Fun with Party Pandas

I have a couple of cards I would like to share with you today. Both made with the Party Pandas stamp set which is one of our new Saleabration freebies when you purchase product to the value of $90. Isn't it sooo cute??

To showcase how versatile this stamp set not only have I made a birthday card in the very yummy Lemon Lime Twist but I have also made a Welcome Baby card in another 2017-2019 In Color, Powder Pink.

In case you are wondering the background for the Welcome Baby card is actually one of the small 4 X 3 cards from the Petal Passion Memories and More Card Pack, now available to order from the 2018 Stampin' Up! Occasions catalogue.

Hope you enjoyed these cards as much as I did making them.

Happy crafting

Perennial Birthday Project Kit

A couple of days ago I told you that I was going to spend some of my holiday time making the cards from the Perennial Birthday Project Kit. Well ta da! They are all finished!

All I needed to add to the kit was Dapper Denim, Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive stamp pads, Paper snips and Glue dots and the end result after only a couple of hours work was 16 beautiful cards.

And now I have got a great head start to my birthday card stash for the year.
Hope you like them and of course if you like to purchase this kit then please contact me.
Have a great day

Holiday simplicity

One of the things I love about the holiday season is the time to get away to our place in Gippsland.Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of a craft room there so I have to be a bit more organized. That's where the Stampin Up! kits are brilliant!
This time I brought the Perennial Birthday project  kit with me along with the coordinating stamp set Perennial Birthday, and the only other thing I needed to bring was a couple of stamp pads, some glue dots and some paper snips and now I'm ready to make 16 cards! How easy is that?

It comes with the cutest storage box with dividers to organize all of your cards for the next year.

Over the next couple of days I'll be sharing some of the cards made from this kit with you, which by the way is now available from our latest occasions catalogue.

Welcome welcome welcome

Well hello!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my brand new blog.
I am a mother of 2 adult children who works part time in the health industry.
I love to spend my spare time crafting whether it be card making, with only Stampin Up! products of course, patchwork, machine embroidery, photography and my latest fun vinyl crafting. The idea of this blog is to share some of my craft with you in particular my Stampin Up! creations but from time to time my other creations as well.

Now to share my crafting space with you. Last year our eldest decided it was time to move out and so I was able to convert the spare room to a craft room. Something I had wanted to do for many years! So with the help of Ikea here are some of the photos.

Hope you like it, I know I do!

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to visit

Hugs T
