Stampin' Up! Bubble Bath

Welcome to a Week 14 of the Colour Creations Showcase blog hop. This week we continue our journey through the remaining Stampin' Up! core colours, working in alphabetical order, with this week's feature colour being Bubble Bath. Bubble Bath  is a member of the Subtles group of colours and is a red-violet colour sitting between Fresh Freesia and Cherry Cobbler on the Stampin' Up! colour wheel.

A few weeks ago I had so much fun creating with the Layers of Beauty bundle that I decided to use it again for this week's feature colour, Bubble Bath. I have teamed Bubble Bath with Moody Mauve and Pebbled Path for a bit of a dramatic addition to Bubble Bath.

Two of the large floral images from the Layers of Beauty stamp set were stamped in Versamark and then embossed in black. Each of the Layers of Beauty Decorative masks were used in order starting with Bubble Bath, then Moody Mauve lightly, then a second layer of Moody Mauve. For the foliage, Pebbled Path was used , first lightly and then a second layer of colour added.

These floral images were then adhered using Dimensionals, to each of the diagonal corners of a piece of White card that had been embossed using the Cute Crochet 3D embossing folder. The overlapping parts of the images were trimmed away.

The sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set has been stamped in Moody Mauve onto a piece of White card that has been die cut using one of the Stylish Shapes dies and then mounted onto a piece of Bubble Bath card that has been die cut using one of the Spotlight on Nature dies.

All of this was then mounted onto a piece of Bubble Bath card and then Pebbled Path card. Finally a couple of Rainbow Adhesive Gems in Bubble Bath were added.

Since the card base is dark, Pebbled Path, I attached a piece of White card to the inside and stamped the smallest floral image from the Layers of Beauty stamp set into each of the corners and then coloured them using Bubble Bath and Pebbled Path Stampin' Blends.

Next in tonight's blog hop is the talented Christine Blain. I look forward to seeing her lovely creation this week.

Stampin' Up! Boho Blue

Welcome to a Week 13 of the Colour Creations Showcase blog hop. This week we continue our journey through the remaining Stampin' Up! core colours, working in alphabetical order, with this week's feature colour being Boho Blue. Boho Blue  is a member of the group of the 2023-2025 In Colours and sits between Misty Moonlight and Blueberry Bushel on the Stampin' Up! Colour Wheel.

This week my card features the Country Flowers bundle as well as a little bit from the Country Birdhouse bundle. When searching for a colour combination for this week I came across one from Brian King that appealed to me.

I have also added in some Copper highlights as well.

For the base of the card a piece of the returning Countryside Inn paper has been adhered to a piece of Boho Blue card and then onto Thick White card.

To make the pot of flowers pop a piece of White card that has been embossed using the Eyelet 3D folder and then die cut using the largest of the circular Stylish Shapes dies.

The stool that the pot of flowers sits on has been stamped in Night of Navy onto a piece of Countryside Inn paper and then die cut using one of the dies from the Countryside Flowers dies.

The teapot has also been stamped using Night Of Navy ink onto Boho Blue card and then die cut.

The flowers after being stamped in Black Memento Ink were coloured using Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, Boho Blue and Calypso Coral Stampin Blends.

The cute little bird is from the Country Birdhouse bundle and has also been coloured using Boho Blue Stampin'Blends.

It is a bit hard to see in the original photo but the sentiment, from Something Fancy, has been embossed using Copper embossing powder, and finally a few Copper Adhesive Backed Metallic Gems have been added.

For the inside of the card, a piece of the In Colour Designer Series Paper in Boho Blue has been adhered to the card base and then a piece of White card added for the writing panel. The circle of flowers in the corner have been die cut using one of the Country Flowers dies and Boho Blue card.

Next in tonight's blog hop is the talented Rachel Woollard. I look forward to seeing her lovely creation this week.

Stampin' Up! Blueberry Bushel

Welcome to a Week 12 of the Colour Creations Showcase blog hop. This week we continue our journey through the remaining Stampin' Up! core colours, working in alphabetical order, with this week's feature colour being Blueberry Bushel. Blueberry Bushel  is a member of the group of the Regals family of colours, and is bold blue colour between Boho Blue and Night of Navy on the colour wheel.

This week I have chosen to revisit the Online Exclusive bundle, Filled With Fun and I have teamed Blueberry Bushel with Granny Apple Green, White and a touch of Pumpkin Pie. The great thing about this bundle is that there is no fussy cutting required!

Attached to the card base is a piece of star pattered paper from the Bright and Beautiful Designer Series Paper pack. On top of this a piece of Blueberry Bushel card has been die cut using the largest of the Deckled Rectangle dies, and then another smaller Deckled rectangle using white card.

The patches of grass have been cut using one of the Fluffiest Friends dies, another Online Exclusive, and some Granny Apple Green card. Both layers of the cart have also been die cut using Granny Apple Green card and the dies from the Filled With Fun die set. The wheels to the cart use Black and Blueberry Bushel card, and  some Blueberry Bushel Tinsel Gems added for the wheel centres.

The multitude of flowers within the cart have been stamped in Black Memnto abnd then coloured using Blueberry Bushel Granny Green Apple and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends. They were then die cut using the die from the same set.

The butterflies in the top right corner are from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set and have been stamped in Black Memento and coloured using Boho Blue and Blueberry Bushel Stampin Blends.

The sentiment is from the Wanted To Say die set and has been die cut using White card as the base and Blueberry Bushel as the letter definition and then popped up using Dimensionals.

For the inside of the card I have continued the rows of flowers the same as those in the cart, in Blueberry Bushel, Granny Apple Green and Pumpkin Pie.

Next in tonight's blog hop is the talented Ros Davidson . I look forward to seeing her lovely creation this week.

Stampin' Up! Blackberry Bliss

Welcome to a Week 11 of the Colour Creations Showcase blog hop. This week we continue our journey through the remaining Stampin' Up! core colours, working in alphabetical order, with this week's feature colour being Blackberry Bliss. Strangely enough but Blackberry Bliss is a member of the Neutrals group of colours and is a very deep Violet colour, between Gorgeous Grape and Moody Mauve on the colour wheel.

This week the bundle I have chosen to feature is Flowers of Beauty which consists of a stamp set with matching dies. To coordinate with Blackberry Bliss I have chosen Fresh Freesia and for the greenery I have chosen Mossy Meadow and Old Olive.

For the card base a piece of the "reverse" side of a piece of Thoughtful Journey has been stamped using one of the floral outlines and Blackberry Bliss ink.

The White card base has been embossed using the Cute Crochet 3D Embossing Folder. Check out the lovely detail in the photo below.

For the floral spray, pieces of Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive card have been die cut using dies from the Flowers Of Beauty dies. For the top sprig White card was stamped using Old Olive and Mossy Meadow inks and 2 step stamps from the Flowers of Beauty stamp set, for the greenery. For the flowers on top of the greenery, Blackberry Bliss and Fresh Freesia inks were stamped using the 2 step stamps also from the Flowers of Beauty stamp set. a little bit of Wink Of Stella was added to the flower centres.

The sentiment is from the Online Exclusive stamp set, Everyday Greetings, and has been white embossed on Blackberry Bliss card that has been die cut using one of the Unbounded Love dies.

For the bow, one piece of White Bakers Twine from the Essentials pack has been coloured using a Blackberry Bliss Stampin Blend, and the other has been left White.

Finally a few Purple Fine Shimmer Gems have been added.

For the card inside, a leftover strip of the Thoughtful Journey was stamped with the floral outline stamp and Blackberry Bliss ink, like the card front. The floral image was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink for the base and Blackberry Bliss ink for the outline. The leaf image was stamped using Old Olive ink. Both images were die cut using dies from the Flowers of Beauty dies.

Next in tonight's blog hop is the talented Ros Davidson. I look forward to seeing her lovely creation this week.

Stampin' Up! Berry Burst

Welcome to a Week 10 of the Colour Creations Showcase blog hop. This week we continue our journey through the remaining Stampin' Up! core colours, working in alphabetical order, with this week's feature colour being Berry Burst. Berry Burst is a member of the Brights group of colours and is between Moody Mauve and Petunia pop on the colour wheel.

This week the feature bundle is the beautiful Layers of Beauty, which consists of a stamp set, coordinating dies and a set of decorative masks. Using all of these elements together makes it easy to make beautiful creations. To coordinate with Berry Burst, I have used Bubble Bath and Blackberry Bliss. For the greenery I have used Lemon Lime Twist and Old Olive. I have to confess this is actually one of the first times I have used masks in a layering sense.

For the card base a piece of Brights 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper in Berry Burst has been adhered to thick white card. Next  another piece of white card embossed using the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing folder has been added. The photo below shows the embossing in more detail.

Next comes the fun! Firstly the large floral image was stamped using Versamark and then embossed in White. Blending Brushes were then used to apply the ink to the image. Starting with Bubble Bath, then Berry Burst and finally Blackberry Bliss for the flowers. For the greenery, Lemon Lime Twist was used first followed by Old Olive.

The floral image was then die cut using the largest die from the Layers of Beauty dies and then popped up using Dimensionals.

One of the Country Flowers dies was used to die cut a few flowers using Berry Burst card, and Iridescent Pearls Basics added to the flower centres.

The sentiment is from the Unbounded Love stamp set and has been stamped in Berry Burst ink on white card. The sentiment panel and the frame have both been die cut using two of the Unbounded Love dies. Finally a few Tinsel Gems in Berry Burst have been added.

For the inside of the card part of the large floral image was stamped in Black Memento and then coloured using blending brushes and the ink colours mentioned earlier.

Next in tonight's blog hop is the talented Vicki Boucher. I look forward to seeing her lovely creation this week.
